About the Film
The Three Canvases tells the story of a world-renowned artist on the eve of his 60 year retrospective. During an interview, the ailing artist confesses the truth about the events that made his career. We flash back to 1953, on the night when his seminal paintings, The Three Canvases, were created. This is the night his whole mythology was shaped. Through his confession, the curtain is torn down and everything that we know of this famous and respected man might be completely wrong.
